a new multi band vertical that I will be using base or remote if I

and I am aware of the pitfalls it has I am hoping someone might be able
to eventually convert it per the internet info for the G1-7B tube Hint

completed the installation of a long wire antenna (just under 100')
connected to an ICOM AH-4 tuner and an ICOM IC-7000 transceiver, and I
was scanning through 40 meters and was able to establish a QSO with Les
Richard (N7CMJ) of Kalispell. He suggested that I log onto the Montanna
Traffic Net as a visitor, which I did earlier this evening. I'll look
forward to becoming a regular member.

Lots of advertising on this page. I really enjoy the Montana
Traffic net and the Montana Section net. I am trying to think of people
